Bajaj CNG Bike Price: Bajaj launched the world's first CNG bike, priced less than one lakh
Bajaj CNG Bike Price: Bajaj Auto launched the world's first CNG bike 'Bajaj Freedom 125' on Friday, July 5. There are two fuel options to run the bike, i.e. a 2-liter petrol tank and a 2 kg CNG tank. A single full charge of both will give a mileage of 330 kilometers.
The rider can switch from CNG to petrol and petrol to CNG with a single button. Its price is between Rs 95,000 to Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the bike have started. Deliveries will first begin in Maharashtra and Gujarat. It will be available in the rest of the states in a phased manner.
Bajaj Freedom CNG bike comes in three variants. The bike has undergone more than 11 safety tests. The tank did not leak even after coming under a 10 tonne loaded truck. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari claimed that the cost of running a CNG two-wheeler would be around Rs 1 per kilometer.

The Freedom 125 bike has the longest seat in the segment. The seat height is 785 mm.
Common fuel tank cap cover has been provided for filling CNG and petrol.
The 2 kg CNG tank in the Freedom 125 bike is placed under the seat.
The bike features a sturdy trellis frame and a segment first linked monoshock.
The CNG bike has a reverse LED console with Bluetooth connectivity.
A 125cc single-cylinder engine has been provided, which generates a torque of 9.7Nm.

Bajaj Auto MD Rajiv Bajaj said, 'The company will target customers worried about rising running costs with the CNG model. Bajaj says, 'We will create a portfolio of CNG bikes, which will include 100CC, 125CC and 150-160CC bikes.'
