B.Tech admissions may start this week in these 5 universities of Delhi
New Delhi . The wait for admission to B.Tech based on JEE Mains in 5 major universities of the capital is going to end soon. There is a high possibility that admissions will start from this week itself.
Joint Admission Counseling (JAC) has been arranged for admission in these institutes. Delhi Technological University (DTU) is the nodal university this time and it will organize it. Earlier this counseling was to start last week. Soon complete information will be shared on the JAC website. It is expected that counseling will start by 30 or 31 May. He said that complete information about this will be uploaded.
More than 6000 seats will be filled in 5 universities working under the Delhi government. An official related to the counselling said that counselling will be done on the basis of JEE Main marks and candidates will be able to take admission in 6,372 reserved seats. The number of seats is likely to increase this year.
It should be noted that 85% seats in these universities are reserved for students who have passed 12th from Delhi. 15% seats are for students from outside Delhi. Reservation rules are also followed under this. Apart from B.Tech, counselling will also be done for admission in 5-year B. Architecture in IGDTUWA and NSUT.
