Asaram Bapu Parole News In Hindi : Asaram is serving life sentence in Jodhpur Central Jail. He has been given 7 days parole for treatment. After this he was sent to Jodhpur Central Jail. Asaram was arrested on 1 September 2013 on charges of raping a minor. He has been in jail since then. A division bench of Rajasthan High Court judge Pushpendra Singh Bhati has granted parole to Asaram considering his health.

The girl had said in her complaint that on the night of 15 August 2013, Asaram had called her to his house in Manai, Jodhpur. He raped me there. A case was registered against Asaram under the POCSO Act. After a trial that lasted for five years, the court found Asaram guilty. He was sentenced to life imprisonment. A female follower in Gujarat filed a rape complaint against him. Last year, while giving the verdict in this case, the court had declared him guilty.

Asaram wanted the sentence to be suspended keeping in mind his health. He had knocked the door of Rajasthan High Court, but had to return empty handed. Asaram has also received a setback from the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court clearly said that it will not interfere in the decision of the High Court.
