All heat records broken in Delhi, temperature crossed 52 degree Celsius
All the heat records in Delhi were broken on Wednesday (29 May). For the first time, the temperature in Delhi reached close to 52 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, a temperature of 52.3 degrees was recorded in Mangeshpur. On Wednesday, at 2:30 pm, a temperature of more than 52 degrees was recorded in Mangeshpur. When the temperature of 52.3 degrees Celsius was recorded in Mangeshpur, Delhi, the average temperature at that time was 45.8 degrees.

This is a major health concern for children, the elderly and people with serious illnesses. The IMD has advised people to avoid heat and dehydration. Meanwhile, amid the scorching heat, the maximum demand for electricity in Delhi has increased to an all-time high of 8,302 MW.
