The cat set the house on fire: A pet cat set a house on fire in China. Due to which the homeowner will have to pay Rs. Loss of ₹11 lakh (1,00,000 yuan). According to a Chinese media newspaper, this incident happened in China’s Sichuan province.
Homeowner Dundon received a call from his property management staff on April 4, saying, “Your home is on fire.” She immediately came home from work and saw that her cat Jingodio had done this. Due to which the first floor of the house got burnt.
The cat ran away as soon as the fire started
Dundon left his cat at home. Who was playing in the kitchen. The cat accidentally turned on the induction cooker while moving around a lot of appliances. Due to which this fire broke out. However, as soon as the fire broke out, firefighters rushed to the spot. Who found the cat hiding in a cupboard upstairs. Which was covered with ashes. Even the firefighters were surprised that the cat hid to save its life.
The homeowner took the blame for the fire
The cat survived the incident, but the homeowner did not react violently. He blamed himself for not switching off the electricity of the induction cooker. Also assured to take more precautions regarding fire safety in future.
