‘I am also just a Woman’: Yuzvendra Chahal’s Wife Dhanashree Verma breaks Silence after Controversy, sends Strong Message
The Indian actress was hugely criticized for a cosy picture with choreographer Pratik Utekar, which went viral and she faced wrath from people.
People started to sympathize with Yuzvendra Chahal and slammed Dhanashree for her action. Although the picture has now been deleted, Dhanashree took to social media for the first time after the incident.
She addressed the social media and said the brutal trolling has hugely affected her family and her. She broke her silence on her Instagram profile with a video depicting how deeply concerned she was with those opinionated comments which were hurled at her.
“It’s that simple to ask and be a human first, then to put forward certain verdicts or opinions,” Dhanashree said.
“I have never in my life been affected by trolls or memes because definitely had a lot of maturity in ignoring or laughing it out loud until this very recent troll occurred. The reason it has affected me this time is because it has affected my family and my near and dear ones. Since you all have the freedom on social media platforms to speak your heart and characters out, you tend to forget or choose to ignore the sentiments of us and our families,” she added.
Chahal’s wife also says that innumerable hurls led her taking a break from social media and says it was indeed a fresh change as she felt peaceful.
“But this also made me realize that if we make this medium so negative, then all we are doing is spreading hate and disharmony on a large scale. Social media is a major part of my work and I can’t give up which is why I have gathered courage today and my creative side here to come back on Instagram,” she further said.
Dhanashree also requested the netizens to be a little more sensitive and channel their skills to positive things. She sent a strong message by reminding people that she is also just a woman like others and the unfair means of the attacks won’t make her stop, as she is a ‘fighter’.
“So just don’t forget I’m also just a woman, just like your mother, your sister, your friend, your wife. And this is not done. It’s not fair. So guys, please, you know, I am known as a fighter and I never give up,” Dhanashree concluded.
Dhanashree Verma was last seen at the stages of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. The Indian actress has always been supportive of her husband Yuzvendra Chahal.
