According to reports, this information is given in an official document. ACC holders living in Islamabad and Rawalpindi will be removed from there and sent back to Afghanistan. It is part of Multi-Phase Rehabilitation Plan for Afghan migrants, including people waiting for rehabilitation in third countries. This decision has been taken between the deteriorating relations between Islamabad and Kabul on the issue of terrorism. This may have an impact on Afghan refugees with more than 800,000 documents with Afghan citizen cards. These people are included in the category of documents refugees, while hundreds and thousands of people are documents free.
It states that the Report Program (IFRP) of illegal foreigners has been implemented from November 1, 2023 and “In order to send back all illegal foreigners, the national leadership has now decided to send ACC holders back”.
Pakistan is constantly blaming Afghan citizens for terrorist attacks and crimes in its border. However, Afghanistan has rejected these allegations.
It warns that “all illegal foreigners and ACC holders are advised to leave the country voluntarily before 31 March 2025; After that, exile will begin from 1 April, 2025. ” It highlights that sufficient time has already been given for their respectable return and emphasized that no one will be misbehaved during the repatriation process and food and healthcare for the returned foreigners have also been arranged.
