He further said that war is never in the interest of any country, but India is fully prepared for retaliation if needed.

Asked about the current situation, General Dwivedi confirmed that the situation had become normal. Regarding Pakistan, General Dwivedi criticized the neighboring country for its inaction in dealing with terrorism. He said that due to this negligence, the Indian Army is alert all the time. The army chief emphasized that the Indian Army has successfully conducted several operations against terrorism, which has brought peace in the region.
