Karnataka: Bengaluru Hindu Front demands that unmarried couples not be allowed to enter hotels
OYO Hotels' decision has created a lot of debate on social media. In fact, OYO recently made a decision that rooms will no longer be offered to unmarried couples. But Uttar Pradesh has started only in Meerut. People have mixed reactions to this. Some are justifying this and some are opposing this decision. Meanwhile, voices are beginning to rise in Bengaluru, Karnataka, demanding to do so. Hindu activist and former convenor of Bajrang Dal, Tejas Gowda, has written to the DGP that in Karnataka, unmarried couples should not be allowed to enter public places. They should also be banned from entering hotel restaurants. Tejas Gowda said that if this demand is not accepted, he will also file a petition in court. During this, he also raised questions about the coexistence of Fiji. According to Tejas Gowda, school and college going boys and girls in Bengaluru go to public places and spread obscenity, college students congregate on weekends. This leads the youth to the wrong path. 80 percent of college going youth live in the park. This is not our culture. This is against Sanatana tradition. He said that there was a gang rape here 8 years ago and since then he has been raising his voice on this issue. At the same time, he has written to Karnataka DGP, Bengaluru CP, PPMP Commissioner for this. Making a big claim, he said that living PGs, which are not sanctioned by the government, are also operating here. But people's lives are being played with by changing the commissions. The Hindu activist said that he has been fighting for the last 8 years and will approach the court if the demands are not met. He said that there is no living together law, so all this is happening illegally. He will file a petition in court for this. Citing some recent incidents in Bengaluru, he said security is paramount and the struggle for it will continue.
