Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give a big gift to more than 1500 families in the New Year. Prime Minister allots new houses to slum dwellers in Delhi on January 3. He will hand over keys to families of 1645 new flats under the Swabiman Flat Scheme at Ashok Vihar. These flats have been built by DDA under the 'Where there are cottages, there are houses' scheme. Earlier in 2022, Prime Minister Modi gifted flats to 575 people from Delhi. The prime minister handed over the keys of flats to 575 people from Delhi at a function organized at Vigyan Bhawan. Apart from this, documents related to residence were also handed over to the family. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) constructed a total of 3074 flats under the Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project in South Delhi's Kalkaji area. Out of these 575 flats are fully ready.
