'India' alliance wavered! After TMC, SP also distanced itself from Congress, opposition divided in Parliament
New Delhi: The winter session of Parliament has started on 25 November 2024. But since then there is only uproar. The opposition is continuously attacking the government. But now everything is not looking good in the India alliance. While on one hand the Congress Party's entire focus is on the Adani case, on the other hand the Samajwadi Party and Trinamool Congress also want to discuss some other issues in Parliament. Looking at the current situation, it is clear that there is something wrong going on in the alliance.
SP-TMC did not support Congress
The opposition may have walked out of the Lok Sabha on the Adani issue, but after the walkout from the House, when the opposition leaders were protesting in the premises, not a single leader of SP and TMC attended it. Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, MP Priyanka Gandhi, RJD's Misa Bharti, Aam Aadmi Party's Sanjay Singh and Shiv Sena UBT's Arvind Sawant took part in the protest on the stairs leading to Parliament's Makar Dwar. During this, banners and placards with slogans like Modi-Adani are one and India wants accountability on Adani were seen in the hands of opposition MPs.

TMC did not attend the meeting with Kharge
Let us tell you that before the commencement of the Parliament proceedings on Monday, December 2, the leaders of India Alliance held a meeting with the leader of the opposition Mallikarjun Kharge. Rahul Gandhi also attended this meeting, but no TMC MP attended the meeting. Trinamool Congress wants that issues like farmers, inflation, unemployment, cut in funds given to opposition states and Manipur should be discussed in the Parliament, whereas the Congress is adamant that only the Adani issue should be discussed. In such a situation, now the attitude of Samajwadi Party also appears to be almost similar to that of TMC.
Why did SP not support Congress?
During the Question Hour in the Lok Sabha, SP MP Akhilesh Yadav strongly raised the issue of Sambhal violence. He first sought permission from Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to speak on this issue and then said that five people have lost their lives in the Sambhal violence, which is a very serious matter. The Speaker suggested raising this issue during Zero Hour. After which Akhilesh Yadav and SP MP walked out in protest against this.
Samajwadi Party MPs also met the Lok Sabha Speaker on Tuesday (3 December 2024) and requested to discuss the issues related to Sambhal violence. The SP MP said that for his party, the issue of farmers is bigger than Adani.
