BJP said on the empty chair next to CM Atishi – this is not following the ideals, this is sycophancy…
As soon as Delhi's new CM Atishi took charge, a new controversy has erupted over the 'CM's chair'. Atishi did not sit on the chair in the Chief Minister's office on which Arvind Kejriwal used to sit till now. The new CM placed a second and smaller chair for herself and said that Kejriwal's chair will keep waiting for her return. BJP has called Atishi's move against the Constitution.
BJP termed this decision of Atishi as sycophancy. Delhi BJP District President Virendra Sachdeva targeted CM Atishi and said, 'Keeping two chairs on the table of the Chief Minister in this manner is an insult to the Constitution, rules and the post of Chief Minister. Ms. Atishi ji, this is not following any ideal, in simple words, it is sycophancy. With this act of hers, Ms. Atishi has hurt the dignity of the post of Chief Minister of Delhi as well as the sentiments of the people of Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal should answer – will you run the Delhi government with this kind of remote control?'

Atishi said that she will run the government for 4 months in the same way as Bharat ruled Ayodhya for 14 years by keeping Lord Ram's sandals. Atishi said, 'Today I have taken the responsibility of the Chief Minister of Delhi. Today I have the same pain in my heart as Bharat ji had, when Lord Shri Ram went to exile from Ayodhya for 14 years and Bharat ji had to rule Ayodhya. Just as Bharat ji ruled Ayodhya for 14 years by keeping Lord Shri Ram's sandals, in the same way I will run the government of Delhi for the next 4 months.'
Sanjay Singh took a dig at BJP, said- why is there so much silence brother…
Atishi said that BJP left no stone unturned in maligning Arvind Kejriwal. False cases were filed against him, he was arrested, and kept in jail for 6 months. When Kejriwal was granted bail by the Supreme Court, BJP said that Kejriwal was arrested out of malice. Any other CM would not have taken 2 minutes to sit on the chair, but Kejriwal said that he will not sit on this chair until the people of Delhi trust his honesty. He resigned from the post of Chief Minister. But the CM's chair belongs to Arvind Kejriwal. I am confident that there are elections in 4 months in February, the people of Delhi will make him sit on the Chief Minister's chair with their love and blessings. Kejriwal's chair will keep waiting for him and will remain vacant like this until then.
Two chairs in Delhi CM office: Atishi did not sit on Kejriwal's chair, kept it empty next to it, said- 'Just like Bharatji kept his wooden sandals…',- CM Atishi
Let us tell you that former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal resigned from the post of Chief Minister on 17 September. After Kejriwal's resignation, the Aam Aadmi Party's legislative party elected Atishi as the new CM of Delhi. Kejriwal submitted his resignation to Delhi LG VK Saxena. Along with this, Atishi also submitted a letter to the LG staking claim to form a new government. The LG sent the resignation and the letter to the President.
