He said a unique campaign of water conservation and nature conservation is underway in India through people's participation and mass movement. We are happy to launch it. He said that even today many parts of the country are facing dire situations. You all know that I have appealed to the people of the country to plant 'a tree in the name of mother' in consideration of the environment. Prime Minister Modi said the report shows that premature deaths of more than 1.25 lakh children can be prevented through Jal Jeevan Mission. And every year more than 4 lakh people can be saved from diseases like diarrhoea. Along with this, Prime Minister Modi said that he has appealed to the people of the country to plant 'a tree in the name of mother' considering the environment. Ground water level also rises rapidly when trees are planted. Millions of trees have been planted in the country under this campaign in the last few weeks.
