BJP angry with Kangana Ranaut's statement on farmers, said- neither allow her to speak on party's policy matters nor refrain from making such comments
New Delhi. The party has distanced itself from the statement made by Bollywood actress and BJP MP from Mandi Lok Sabha seat Kangana Ranaut on the farmers' movement. Along with this, she has been strictly advised not to make any such statement in future. In this regard, the party issued a statement saying that Kangana Ranaut is neither allowed to speak on policy matters nor is she authorized to make statements. A statement was issued by the party saying that the statement given by BJP MP Kangana Ranaut in the context of the farmers' movement is not the opinion of the party. BJP expresses disagreement with Kangana Ranaut's statement. Kangana Ranaut is neither allowed to speak on BJP's policy issues on behalf of the party nor is she authorized to make statements.

BJP's clarification, Kangana Ranaut is not allowed to speak on policy issues
BJP has directed Kangana Ranaut not to make any such statement in future. The Bharatiya Janata Party is determined to follow the principles of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas' and social harmony. In this way, the party has distanced itself from Kangana Ranaut's statement, in which she had said that during the farmers' movement, an attempt was made to turn Punjab into Bangladesh, but due to the alertness of the government, this did not happen.
There was a lot of controversy over Kangana Ranaut's statement. Earlier also, during the farmers' movement, she had made many such comments, which had sparked anger against her. Not only this, a CISF jawan named Kulwinder Kaur attacked her at Chandigarh airport. She said that her mother was also involved in the farmers' movement and Kangana had said about the women protesting that they had come for Rs 100 each.

On the controversial statement given by BJP MP and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on the farmers' movement, former Punjab Congress Minister Rajkumar Verka has demanded that Kangana Ranaut be sent to Dibrugarh jail of Assam under the National Security Act. He said that Kangana Ranaut spews venom against the leaders of Punjab every day.
