During his visit to Ukraine, PM Modi invited Zelensky to visit India, the President of Ukraine expressed happiness

Kyiv: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a historic visit to Ukraine. Meanwhile, India and Ukraine signed four agreements on Friday. They also pledged to increase cooperation in several key areas including defence, trade, medicine, green energy and education. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed their commitment to further improve bilateral relations. Meanwhile, PM Modi has invited Zelensky to visit India. Zelensky expressed happiness over this.
On the invitation, Zelenskyy said that he would be happy to visit the great country of India. During a media briefing after the talks between the two leaders, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar confirmed that Modi has invited Zelenskyy to visit India.

discussion on bilateral relations
Though the Modi-Zelensky talks mainly focused on the Russia-Ukraine conflict, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said a significant part of the discussions focused on bilateral relations. He said trade, economic issues, defence, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, education were discussed. Jaishankar said at a press conference that the two leaders tasked the India-Ukraine inter-governmental commission to focus specifically on rebuilding trade and economic ties.
During the talks, Ukraine reiterated support for India's permanent membership in the UN Security Council, a joint statement said. The four agreements signed after the talks relate to cooperation in the fields of agriculture, food industry, medicine, culture and humanitarian assistance.
Zelensky expressed his desire to meet again
Zelensky said, when you start a strategic partnership, some conversation, you should not waste time. So I think it would be good to meet again, and I would be happy if our meeting takes place in India. He said, I really need your country to be on our side.

Zelensky said, this is not a matter of your historical choice, but who knows, maybe your country will play an important role using diplomatic influence. He said that I have read a lot about your big and great country. It is very interesting. He said, so when your government, Prime Minister Modi wants to meet me, then I will be happy to come to India. Zelensky said, Prime Minister Modi is more supportive of peace than Putin. The problem is that Putin does not want peace.
