Arvind Kejriwal News: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal's court custody has been extended again. Delhi's Roose Avenue court on Tuesday extended Arvind Kejriwal's judicial custody till August 27 in the CBI case related to the excise policy scam. Special Judge Kaveri Baveja of Delhi's Rose Avenue Court delivered the verdict in the judicial custody of Aam Aadmi Party leader Kejriwal. After Arvind Kejriwal's judicial custody ended, he was produced in court through video conferencing. Earlier, the Supreme Court rejected his bail plea. Court custody of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal ended yesterday. Following this, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) briefed him in court. At the same time, Delhi's Rose Avenue Court extended Arvind Kejriwal's judicial custody till August 27. Along with this, the court may also consider the supplementary chargesheet filed by the CBI on August 27. Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the CBI from Tihar Jail on June 26 after he was granted interim bail in the enforcement case. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also faced a setback in the Supreme Court as the Supreme Court rejected his bail plea earlier. On August 14, the Supreme Court rejected Arvind Kejriwal's bail plea. The Aam Aadmi Party leader filed a case in the Supreme Court against his arrest by the CBI. The bench of Justice Surya Kant, which heard the case, listed the case for August 23. In this case, during the Lok Sabha elections, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was granted interim bail by the Supreme Court. Arvind Kejriwal granted interim bail from May 10 to June 1. At the same time, Arvind Kejriwal surrendered on June 2 after his term was over and is currently in jail.
