In the month of Sawan, Sawan Monday fasts are being observed where devotees observe fasts and worship according to the rituals to please Lord Shiva. This time Sawan Monday started from 22 July 2024, whose last Monday will be observed on 19 August this time.

Know the auspicious time of Sawan Monday fast
The last Monday of Sawan is on 19th August, on this day the festival of brother-sister love Rakshabandhan is also going to be celebrated. On this day the month of Sawan will end on 19th August at 11:55 pm, after which the month of Bhadrapada will start. According to the Vedic calendar, the last fast of Sawan Monday will be kept on 19th August 2024. July 18 is the Kshaya Tithi of Chaturthi of Sawan Shukla Paksha, so Purnima Tithi will start on 19th August itself. Along with this, Bhadra also starts. Which will last till 1.31 pm on 19th August.
Know the ingredients for Sawan Monday Udyapan
It is important for you to know what things or materials will be required for the Udhyapan of Sawan Somvar Vrat, let’s know. First of all, collect these materials, such as the idol of Shiva and Parvati ji, idol or picture of Chandradev, stool or wooden plank, cotton, Panchamrit (raw cow milk, curd, ghee, honey and sugar mixed), small cardamom, cloves, flower garland, Akshat, Paan, Kumkum, Gangajal, cloth, Naivedya, betel nut, seasonal fruits, earthen lamp, Roli, Mauli, incense, camphor, white and red sandalwood, banana leaf, mango leaf.
Know the method of doing Udyaapan
On the last day of Savan Monday, you can conclude the fast by using the ingredients at the auspicious time in this manner.
Wake up in the morning and take a bath and wear clean white clothes on this day, after that purify the place of worship with Ganga water.
After this, make a square pavilion at the place of worship using four banana pillars, decorate the pavilion with flowers and festoons.
After that, sit facing east and place the wooden plank in the middle of the mandap.
Spread a white cloth on it and install the idol of Shiva-Parvati
After that, place the Moon in any vessel and place it on the stand.
First of all, to purify yourself, take water in your hand and sprinkle water on yourself while chanting this mantra.

After this, apply sandalwood, roli and rice tilak to the idol of the Lord. Offer flowers and garlands to him and offer Panchamrit.
Also offer white sweets. After this, go to the Shiva temple and offer water, milk, curd, honey, ghee, Ganga water on the Shivling.
Also offer Bilva leaves, Dhatura and Bhaang. For the fulfillment of your wishes, add black sesame seeds and offer 11 pots of water on the Shivling. Eat food after performing the Puja. On the day of Udyaapan also, you have to eat food only once.
