Udaiban, Kumari Selja clash in front of Rahul in Congress meeting, Haryana Congress president accuses of bias
The All India Congress Committee (AICC) meeting was held in Delhi. The meeting was attended by leaders of the party and several state officials. While the meeting was going on, a heated argument broke out between Ariana Congress president Udaiban and the party's general secretary Kumari Selja. In the meeting, in the presence of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and former president Rahul Gandhi, Shailaja accused the Haryana Congress president of bias. During the meeting, Shailaja directly accused the Haryana Congress of giving preference to people belonging to one party only. Before the debate on the allegations continued, the organisation's general secretary KC Venugopal came to the rescue. He calmed down the issue by asking him to meet Shailja separately. After the meeting, the in-charge and the chairman came to the office of the general secretary of the organization and gave an explanation. Sources said that the General Secretary of the organization reprimanded the state president and this is not the first time that the complaint has come up. In-charge Deepak Bawaria was told that the complaints of other parties should be resolved immediately, coordination should be done soon and the report should be submitted. This is not the first time that Shailaja has faced such allegations. Earlier last month, he made serious allegations against senior party leader and former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda without naming him. He hinted at the weakening of the party in Haryana. The issue of ticket distribution in the Lok Sabha elections has also been raised, and in the Aryana Congress, two factions are said to have formed within the party. One group was Shailja's group and the other was Bhupendra Singh Hooda. Regarding the distribution of tickets in the Lok Sabha elections, Shailaja said that perhaps the state in-charge was not aware of the ground situation. The party leadership may not have been properly informed. Even after Haryana's senior Congress MLA Kiran Chaudhary left the party, Shailaja questioned the state's leadership. Trouble for Congress: Assembly elections in Haryana are due later this year. In such a situation, the party's best effort is to keep the state leaders united to face the ruling party with full strength, but the resentment among the leaders is a problem for the party.
