MoUs signed during Jaishankar's three-day visit
The crucial Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Friday during External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar's three-day official visit to Maldives. Jaishankar said the launch of digital payment system in Maldives reiterated New Delhi's commitment to further deepen India-Maldives ties through the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).

Maldives President Mohammed Muju praised India

Maldives President Mohammad Muizzu praised India on this occasion and said that India has always been a close ally and valuable partner of Maldives.
He said that whenever Maldives needed India, New Delhi has always helped. Mujju said this in an online program, where he announced the launch of water supply and sewerage facilities in 28 island areas.
