Jharkhand Adivasi Mahotsav: Ranchi – On the second day of the Jharkhand Adivasi Mahotsav-2024 on Saturday, artistes from across the country gave a spectacular presentation. The performers forced the audience to dance through songs and dances. At the closing ceremony of the two-day festival, artists enthralled the audience with dance, songs and tableaux. The audience danced to lively performances by Padma Shri Madhu Mansoori Hansmukh, Jyoti Sahu, Vivek Naik and others. The audience danced to a lively presentation by Padma Shri Madhu Mansoori Hansmukh at the Jharkhand Tribal Mahotsav-2024 at the Birsa Munda Memorial Park in Ranchi. In this grand function, people danced to the magnificent spectacle of Padma Shri Madhu Mansoori. Padmasree Madhu Mansoori 'Hasmukh', who wrote and sang many Nagpuri songs for the Jharkhand movement, was born on 4th September 1948 in Similia, Ranchi. He sang his first song in 1960 at the age of 12. He has received many awards for his singing and writing skills. Among his many outstanding masterpieces, Nagpur Khar Kora and Khao Sotb Nahi, Jungle Sotb Nahi are notable. Jyoti Sahu and Vivek Naik presented modern Nagpuri and Kuduk songs by The Sajni Group Nagpuri band. Singer Vivek Naik entertained the audience with his mesmerizing voice. Jharkhand daughter Jyoti Sahu's amazing look is captivating people. Playback singer Jyoti Sahu started her musical journey at the age of 7. His first Nagpuri album Sone Khar Pinjra was released in 1995. He has lent his voice in about 4,000 audio-video albums in Hindi, Bhojpuri, Nagpuri, Santhali, Gordha, Kuduk etc. He has lent his voice in more than 40 small and large-scale films produced in Jharkhand, including the recently released Jamdara Part-2. She also won the title of 'Best Female Singer' of Jharkhand at the first Jharkhand International Film Festival JIFFA. Tribal artists from Maharashtra mesmerized the audience by playing the flute at the start of the program. Gabri, a traditional tribal dance of Maharashtra, was presented by the artists. Garbi dance was performed by tribal artists from Assam state. A unique confluence of traditional costumes, musical instruments, wonderful culture, heritage and history of Assam was witnessed. Holi dhole dance was presented by artistes from Rajasthan.
