A group of Loco Pilots met Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi at the Parliament complex yesterday i.e. Wednesday. During this the Loco pilots raised demands before Rahul. Rahul made everyone meet the Railway Minister. Rahul Gandhi reached Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav's room in the Parliament complex along with the Loco Pilot team. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav heard the problems of the loco pilots and promised to solve their problems. Following this, on social media X, Rahul 'revisited Loco pilots in Parliament, where he reiterated his demands for adequate rest and basic amenities in the cabin. This is a very necessary and absolutely fair demand for the safety of millions of passengers who travel by rail every day. The loco pilots were made to meet the Railway Minister, who heard their problems and promised to consider their concerns. I will ensure implementation of solutions to these problems for safe travel of the people of the country. Today we have succeeded in bringing the Indian Railways to the best position since the Congress era. “LocoPilot” facilities have been continuously improved since 2014. And we are ready to provide them more facilities in the future as well. Responding to Rahul's tweet, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, “Today we are Indians from Congress. We have succeeded in bringing era railways to a better state. Since 2014, the 'LocoPilot' facilities have been continuously improved. And we are ready to provide them more facilities in the future as well. Remember we are hard workers. The Railway Minister said that Loco pilots are a part of the Railway family. He said major improvements have been made in the working conditions of Loco pilots in the last 10 years. 558 AC powered rooms have been constructed from 2014 to 2024. It was zero during Congress rule (2004-14). AC cabins 7075, Loco coaches with toilet 815, besides this many facilities were provided.
