People traveling from Gandhi Maidan in Patna to Kaighat will get relief from congestion from next year. A double-decker flyover is being constructed at Ashok Rajpath to cope with the increasing vehicular pressure. Its construction work is more than half completed. The work is estimated to be completed by January 2025. This is what TM Dr Chandrasekhar Singh says. He visited the ongoing construction work in the district. During the inspection, he visited the construction work of a double decker flyover from Kargil Chowk to Patna Science College. He said the work is progressing fast by the Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation Limited. With the construction of double decker flyover and Krishnagad link road, students and teachers of Patna University, students preparing for competitive exams, patients, doctors and all common citizens will get more facilities. Singh visited various places and inspected construction works and public facilities in the district. Starting at 10:00 AM from Gandhi Maidan, Metro Construction at Kargil Chowk, Ashok Rajpath, Double Decker Flyover Construction, JP Gangabad-Ashok Rajpath Link Road at Krishnaghat, Patna Metro Rail Depot at PMCH, JP Gangabad, Pahari and Ranipur Mauj , Panchseel High School Kumrar, Rajendra Nagar, Kangarbagh, Exhibition Road and visited the construction works and public facilities of various areas. The DM took up all aspects related to encroachment, traffic management and livelihood of citizens including encroachment, traffic management, change in water level of Ganga. DM Dr. Chandrasekhar Singh visited the concerned places and inspected them for about three hours. The foundation stone of this mega project of the city was laid three years ago in September 2021. 422 crores will be spent for this. After its construction, patients will be able to reach PMCH directly from Gandhi Maidan. For this, one arm of this double-decker flyover will fall on the BMCH campus.
