Indian Hume Pipe receives project worth ₹1,137 crore by Telangana government
The work order for the project has been awarded to the joint venture formed between India Hume Pipe Co. (IHP), AMR India Limited (AMRIL) and Shoda Constructions Private Limited (SCPL).
Of the total order, 20% of the work i.e. worth ₹277.55 crore will be executed by IHP. for which the company received the letter of acceptance on Wednesday. The project which has been awarded by the Public Health and Municipal Engineering Department of the Telangana government will have to be executed within 24 months.
In the regulatory filing, the company said, ‘This is to inform you that the Joint Venture (JV) formed between the AMR India Limited (‘AMRIL’), Shoda Constructions Private Limited (‘SCPL’) and The Indian Hume Pipe Co. Ltd. (‘IHP’) has been awarded the work order relating to ‘Water Supply Projects & Sewerage Projects under AMRUT 2.0′ by Government of Telangana.’
On Wednesday, the shares of IHP closed in BSE at ₹236.65 as compared to the previous close of ₹257.05. The stock hit an intraday high of ₹259.75 and intraday low of ₹234.10.
