Bharatiya Janata Party may release the first list for Maharashtra, Haryana and Jharkhand assembly elections before the election announcement. As per the information available, names of candidates may be declared for around 30-35 seats in Maharashtra, around 20 seats in Haryana and around 25 seats in Jharkhand. Most of these are constituencies where the BJP candidate lost or won by a very narrow margin in the last election. Ahead of the announcement of the elections, several rounds of meetings of the BJP top brass have been held to deliberate on the candidates to be announced. The Election Committee will meet on August 20 to finalize these names. Reserved seats will also be included in this list. Earlier last year too, the BJP did a similar experiment in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan elections. Assembly elections are going to be held in four states this year. Apart from Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Haryana, assembly elections are also going to be held in Jammu and Kashmir. Elections are likely to be held here in September itself. Elections are likely to be held in the remaining three states in October-November. News is updating…
