Waqf Board Amendment Bill 2024: The Waqf Bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. Opposition parties opposed the Waqf Board Amendment Bill, while BJP's allies in the NDA supported it. JDU also supported the Waqf Bill. JDU MP and Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh supported the bill and said in Parliament that the bill was not anti-Muslim. He also gave the reason for his support.
