Kerala: Before disaster, pet parrot gave owner strange signals…many lives saved

It is said that animals can sense impending natural disasters. I have seen this happen many times. Before calamities such as earthquakes, tsunamis and storms, animals are often seen to behave strangely. A similar phenomenon was observed in Kerala's Wayanad landslide. Here a pet parrot predicted disaster. He made noise in the house. The parrot's owner informed the neighborhood. Everyone was alert and his life was saved. When the landslide occurred in Wayanad, people were fast asleep. No one knew that he would continue to sleep. A disaster from the mountains destroyed everything. Hundreds of houses were buried under the rubble. More than 350 people died. About the same number of people have gone missing. In the midst of all this, some surprising news has come out. A parrot saved many lives in Suralmala. KM Vinod's pet parrot Kingini, who lives here, gave such signals before the landslide, which saved the lives of his entire family and friends. Vinod said that before the disaster, his parrot had started making noise in his cage. He started shouting loudly. Inside the cage, he spread his wings in a strange manner and started circling here and there. That's unusual. Vinod's eyes opened due to the parrot's actions. When we went outside, there was dirty water. He immediately woke up his family. Vinod also invited his neighbors Jijin, Prashant and Ashkar. They were all sleeping. Everyone was horrified by the sight outside. Many lives were saved and they quickly left their homes for safer places. Vinod went to his sister's house on Colony Road. He also took his parrot with him. In this landslide, the houses of Vinod and GG were completely destroyed and buried in the mud. The houses of Prashant and Ashkar were partially damaged. Vinod and his family are currently living in Meppadi Government Higher Secondary School Camp. Here, they are searching for missing people after the disaster in Wayanad.
