Mumbai Police Confirm Digangana Suryavanshi’s Innocence in Business Deal Case. In a recent development, the Mumbai Police have concluded their investigation. As they have gone into the allegations made by Showstopper producer Manish Harishankar against actress Digangana Suryavanshi. Harishankar had accused Suryavanshi of fabricating a business deal involving actor Akshay Kumar for his show. Showstopper, and attempting to extort a large sum of money from him under false pretenses. He lodged a complaint against Suryavanshi at the Mumbai police station, citing sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Police Findings: After a thorough investigation, the police determined that the allegations were entirely unfounded. They revealed that the business deal was genuine and that Harishankar was fully aware of its authenticity from the beginning. This revelation has cleared Suryavanshi of all accusations.
Official Statement from Suryavanshi’s Team
Suryavanshi’s team expressed their gratitude for the fair inquiry conducted by the Mumbai Police. In an official statement, they said, “On Digangana’s behalf, we would like to officially state that the allegations made on Digangana Suryavanshi by Manish Harishankar in his complaint to the Mumbai police have been proven false. The matter is shut by the police. The RTI report is given to the media publications in faith which is self-explanatory. We didn’t want to give out any statement during the police investigation; we wanted to patiently wait for the official verdict by the police. Which now clearly states that Digangana was not wrong at all. We would like to thank the Mumbai police for their fair investigation and bringing out the truth. Thank you to all the well-wishers for always believing in her. Digangana is known for her clean reputation, and continues to keep it intact.”
Defamation Case Against Harishankar
Following the police investigation, Digangana Suryavanshi has filed a defamation case against Manish Harishankar. She has also lodged a police complaint under several sections of the IPC, including 509, 406, 420, 499, 500, 503, 506, 63, 199, and 211. Suryavanshi accused Harishankar of spreading false quotes in her name. Attempting to tarnish her reputation, making false claims in the media. Leaking a business deal proposal, signing a false Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a commitment of having money when there was none, and not paying her fee for Showstopper despite his claims to the contrary.
