No state wants to adopt Bengal's model… Home Minister's reply to Trinamool Congress MP's question

TMC MP Saukata Roy raised the question in the Lok Sabha. In response to this, Home Minister Amit Shah has strongly condemned him. Responding to a question by Saugata Roy, the Home Minister said that no state in the country would want to adopt West Bengal's model. Roy had asked a supplementary question on left-wing extremism during Question Time in the Lok Sabha. Citing the end of left-wing extremism in West Bengal, Trinamool Congress MP Saukata Roy asked if the Center would implement this model in other states too. Regarding this, Amit Shah said that the Prime Minister Modi-led government has no problem in implementing the example of any state that does good. The Home Minister said that no state would want to adopt West Bengal's model. Responding to supplementary questions, Minister of State for Home Affairs Nithyanand Roy said that incidents of left-wing extremism have decreased by 53 percent in the last 10 years. There has been a 72 percent reduction in the number of security forces killed in these incidents.
