Two women killed, one injured in Aurangabad lightning strike

BIHAR NEWS: Two women were killed and another was injured after being struck by lightning during rains in two different villages under Barun police station area in Aurangabad on Wednesday. Among the deceased were Jutri Devi (45), wife of Vijay Pal, resident of Redia village, and Sonhal Devi (65), wife of Ram Audar Singh, resident of Chagan Bika village. The injured has been identified as Kavita Devi, wife of Satyendra Singh, a resident of Chander Bika village. While returning from the field, the first incident of lightning strike came from Redia village. Jutri Devi had gone to sow seeds at Badar of Rediya village. She was returning to her home in the afternoon. On the way there was a sudden thunderstorm and she got hit by it. Jotri died on the spot. Ranjan Kumar, a resident of the same village, said that a mourning atmosphere has developed after the death of Judri. BSI Srinath of Barun police station said that after receiving information about the incident, he reached the spot and completed the necessary action. The woman was planting paddy. The second incident was a Badar from Chakan Biga. Ward Councilor Surendra Yadav said: Sonahal Devi is doing the work of planting paddy in Padar area of ​​Chakan Bika village. At the same time, there was a thunderstorm with rain and Sonal was also burnt along with Kavitha Devi of Chander Bika. Nearby workers informed the family about the incident. Both were immediately taken to the Community Health Center for treatment, where doctors declared Sonhal brought dead. Kavitadevi is being treated.
