Lisa Frankenstein OTT Release Date: Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse starrer Hollywood horror comedy Lisa Frankenstein is soon going to make its digital debut in India.
Helmed by the direction of filmmaker Zelda Williams, the movie will premiere on Jio Cinema on August 9, 2024, allowing fans to watch it comfortably sitting inside their homes.
However, it is important to note here that a subscription to Jio Cinema’s Premium will be necessary for watching the horror entertainer on the OTT platform.

Written by Diablo Codey, Lisa Frankenstein arrived on the big screens on February 9, 2024, featuring Joe Chres, Henry Eikenberry amongst others in key roles.
However, the massive buzz around its release failed to help the horror thriller achieve box-office success and it only received a lukewarm reception from the movie buffs.
By the time the movie, made with a budget of USD 13 million (Approx) concluded its theatrical run, it only managed to amass a total of 9.9 million USD from the ticket windows, causing disappointment to the makers and the fans.
Nevertheless, now with the film all set to try its luck on Jio Cinema, it will be interesting to witness how it fares with Indian horror enthusiasts.
Plot

A teenage goth girl learns that the handsome boy in her high school she is head over heels for is actually a Vioctorian-era corpse who has been brought back to life due to terrifying compelling circumstances. The two then together embark on a journey, seeking love, bonding, romance, and some missing body parts of the living deadman.

With Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse playing the lead pair, Lisa Frankenstein, in its star cast features Joe Chrest, Liza Soberano, Henry Eikenberry, and Carla Gugino in pivotal roles.  Mason Novick in association with Diablo Cody has presented the movie under the banner of Lollipop Woods and MXN Entertainment.
