Bihar Sambarg Kranti Express: New Delhi-bound Bihar Sambarg Kranti was split into two parts before reaching Muzaffarpur on Monday. The incident took place near Gudiram Bose Pusa station of Samastipur-Muzaffarpur railway section. As the connection broke, the train engine and a coach started running on the tracks. The remaining 19 coaches are left behind. The engine and a bogie moved forward 100 meters during the incident. After this, the loco pilot applied emergency brake and stopped the train. After this, there was a commotion among the passengers. Passengers who normally go for AC coaches came out. Within minutes, thousands of local people gathered around Karpurigram and Guthiram Bose Poosa stations near the bisected train. After the incident, the railway staff immediately attached the locomotive to the bogie, while the train was halted at Pusa station for investigation. However, no damage was caused in this incident. After the incident, Samastipur Railway Division DRM Vinay Srivastava has ordered an inquiry into the entire matter. Due to this the train was delayed for more than one and a half hours. After the link break incident, the Bihar Sambark Granti train reached Muzaffarpur Junction at 2.14 pm with a delay of 4 hours. According to information, the train left Samastipur at 9.42 am and the train split into two parts at 10.03 am near Gudiram Bose Pusa. In such a situation, the passengers waiting for the train at Muzaffarpur kept asking the reason for the train delay from the passenger inquiry center to the DD. At 10.03 am on Monday, train no. near km 46-04 between Garpurigram and Gudiram Bose Poosa stations of Sonpur division. The connection between the second and third coaches of 12565 Darbhanga-New Delhi Express was opened. It was reassembled by the staff. At 11.15 this train proceeded safely. No damage was done in this incident. All Delhi-bound trains, including Vaishali, were late in the morning following a link break on the Samastipur-Muzaffarpur section. Train No. 12553 Vaishali Express reached Muzaffarpur 1.25 hours late at 12.15 pm, while Train 02563 Barauni-New Delhi Clone reached 4.30 hours late at 2 pm and Train 02569 Darbhanga-New Delhi Clone reached Muzaffarpur 4.30 hours late till 4.30 pm. As all the trains are running late, there is no space to step on platforms one, two and three due to crowding of passengers. Feedback taken from passengers after the incident: After the incident, feedback was taken from the passengers by the railway management when the train started its journey. After hearing the news that the engine and coaches were separated after the shock, many passengers were scared, after which the railway staff went round all the AC coaches and questioned the passengers. On getting the information, a team led by RPF Inspector Manoj Kumar Yadav from Naranpur Anand Post immediately reached the Pusa spot, where the crowd was controlled and the passengers were briefed. RPF inspector informed that all trains were dispatched safely till noon. Vinay Srivastava, Zonal Railway Manager, Samastipur Railway Division, DRM, said the incident occurred due to the opening of the link. It was added later.
