Kerala Congress accused of spreading false news against MP KC Venugopal

The Congress on Sunday accused MP KC Venugopal of spreading false news. He said that it has come to our attention that some profiles and some people in the internet media are spreading false news about MP KC Venugopal. He said it was true that the Bank of India Employees Union had invited KC Venugopal along with some other important personalities for the event organized in his constituency Alappuzha. KC Venugopal did not attend the program as he was warned about something untoward on the agenda. Kerala Congress wrote on its social media platform X that we have reliable information that there is a big conspiracy behind this campaign. Those spreading false news that Venugopal participated in the event will face legal consequences. It has come to our notice that some chunky profiles and sections of internet media are spreading fake news about Shri KC Venugopal MP. Accused of paying tribute to Pervez Musharraf We tell you that Congress has also shared a post on X in which Venugopal has been accused of paying tribute to Pervez Musharraf on Vijay Diwas in Kargil. It said the Bank of India Employees' Union paid tribute to Pakistan General TP Pervez Musharraf, who plotted to infiltrate the country after Vijay Diwas in Kargil. Congress MP KC Venugopal is said to have organized the conference at Comrade Bally George Nagar in Alappuzha.
