Lender VIB rewards 1,900 employees with ESOP shares

Vietnam International Bank (VIB) will reward 1,918 of its employees with 11 million shares that are currently worth around VND230 billion (US$9.08 million).

Each will receive 1,000 to 620,000 shares depending on their position and productivity. The program will be carried out this year.
Le Quang Trung, the lender’s director of capital resources, will receive the highest reward of 620,000 shares, equivalent to around VND13 billion.
Around 16% of employees will be rewarded.
Before VIB, other lenders such as Techcombank, NamABank and MB have also used ESOP to retain key employees.
