Vedanta: Vedanta approves second interim dividend for 2024-25

Vedanta: On July 26, the Vedanta board declared an interim dividend of Rs 4 per share for FY2025. Vedanta Ltd has declared a total dividend of Rs 1,564 crore. The company's recent meeting approved a second interim dividend of Rs 4 on an equity share of Rs 1 for the financial year 2024-25. This dividend payment is by Vedanta Limited to reward its shareholders and provide them with a return on their investments. Vedanta Company is famous for good dividend. A total of Rs 4,089 crore was distributed to shareholders. The record date for this dividend has been fixed as May 25. Vedanta has consistently maintained generous dividend payouts in recent years. A total dividend of Rs.37,572 crore was paid in FY2023. This is higher than the dividend of Rs 16,689 crore distributed in FY22. A good improvement from the Rs 3,519 crore dividend paid in FY21. Vedanta has shown good stock performance, with returns of over 56% last year and over 69% in 2024. Vedanta shares closed at Rs 444.50 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 26, showing a rise of 3.16%.
