Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that an industry office will be opened in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu to facilitate investment in Madhya Pradesh. This office will act as a bridge to increase trade and business between Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Invest MP- Interactive Session in Coimbatore. He said that the purpose of the Investor Summit is to bring different states closer to each other for trade and business. He said that under the leadership of PM Modi, we have to work with determination towards making India the number one country in the world.
He said that the industrialists here have established Coimbatore and Tripura as industrial hubs on their own strength, now Madhya Pradesh is calling you. We have come here with the objective of giving you new opportunities to expand your business and to strengthen the relations between Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu by sharing love. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the “Invest MP – Interactive Session” organized in Coimbatore, the major industrial center of South India, by lighting a lamp and offering water to the Tulsi plant.
Industrialists from Tamil Nadu were invited
Coimbatore is known for industrial sectors such as textile and garment, engineering and information technology. To encourage investment and industrial activities in the state, a road show and interactive session with investors and industrialists were organized in Coimbatore with the aim of inviting industrialists from Tamil Nadu to the Global Investor Summit to be held in Bhopal. More than 1200 participants participated in the session and investment proposals worth more than Rs 2500 crore were received for investment in Madhya Pradesh.
2025 will be celebrated as the Year of Industry
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that textile and garment industry, automobile and engineering industries are also developing rapidly in Madhya Pradesh. There are immense possibilities in these areas in Madhya Pradesh. This is the most appropriate time for industrialists to take their business to new heights by investing in Madhya Pradesh. Every aspect of investment in Madhya Pradesh has been taken care of. To make the Amrit Kaal of Independence the period of fortune for Madhya Pradesh, we are working on the vision of making the industries of the state a part of the global supply chain.
Chief Minister Yadav said that the state government is constantly making efforts for the establishment and development of industries in the state. In this direction, a new initiative has been started to promote investment in every region of the state through Regional Industry Conclave. Giving priority to investment promotion, it has been decided to celebrate the year 2025 as the Industry Year.

Eco system friendly for textile industry
The Chief Minister said that a state-of-the-art skill development center is being started in Jabalpur city to prepare human resources in accordance with the changing needs of the textile industry. An MoU has been signed with the Tirpur Export Association. Madhya Pradesh is providing the best financial benefit package to the textile and garment industry in the country. It is a matter of pride that the PM Mitra Integrated Mega Textile Park has been approved in Dhar district of the state.
The Chief Minister said that more than 10 OEMs of auto industries and more than 200 auto component manufacturers are present in Madhya Pradesh. Many big and small units of OEMs and ancillaries required for commercial vehicle manufacturing are also operational. The support infrastructure required for the auto sector such as ‘Indo German Tool Room, Indore’, ‘The Central Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute, Auto Cluster Training Centre in Budni and Pithampur and ‘Auto Testing Track NATRAX’ are also available in the state.
The state is blessed with abundant mineral, forest, water and tourism resources. Madhya Pradesh is a people friendly, development friendly and environment friendly destination for setting up industries and investments. The state has good connectivity with other states.
Three MoUs were signed
In the interactive session, one-to-one meetings were held with more than 25 industrialists and four major industry organizations, and information was also disseminated regarding the state’s one district one product. Along with this, an MoU was signed with the Indian Cotton Corporation for knowledge sharing to promote the production and area of ELS cotton in the state and with Tirupur Export Association for increasing the availability of skilled manpower in the state and establishing textile clusters. An MoU was also signed with the South India Mills Association for promoting cotton cultivation in Madhya Pradesh and research and development sharing.
