Budget 2024: UP's share of Rs 3.63 lakh crore, construction of 2,000 new roads, special focus on development

LUCKNOW: UP doesn't get much special in Union Budget 2024-25. Whatever share he gets in the central schemes will be available to him. UP's share is estimated to come to a total of Rs 3.63 lakh crore. People of UP will benefit from more than two thousand highways, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), PM Awas, PM Surya etc. UP's growth will be boosted by India's growth, special assistance scheme, central taxes, charges in central budget etc. UP will get Rs 96,000 crore in centrally assisted projects and Rs 11,500 crore in other projects. UP also has some confidence in the agriculture sector. Farmers of UP will benefit from quotas set aside for organic farming and organic farming. Special work is being done in organic sugarcane farming in UP.
