General Budget, 6 Bills… Monsoon Session of Parliament will be in force from today

Several bills including Economic Survey and General Budget are to be tabled in the Monsoon Session of Parliament. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the central budget on Tuesday. Along with this, in the session, India Block has developed a strategy to present the government on issues like the NEET leak issue and railway safety. It seems that the monsoon session will be hectic. The Monsoon session till August 12 will hold 19 meetings, in which 6 bills will be tabled by the government. During this session, the Jammu and Kashmir budget will also be approved by the central government's parliament. Economic Statement and Budget to be presented Union Finance Minister Sitharaman will present the Economic Statement in Parliament at 2:30 PM on Monday. The Union Budget is being presented by the Finance Minister for the seventh time. The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir's budget will be presented on July 23. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiran Rijiju said that 6 legislative issues and 3 financial issues have been provisionally identified during this session. The upcoming budget will be the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government's first major policy announcement after taking office for a third term in May. All-party meeting held An all-party meeting called by the government ahead of the monsoon session of Parliament where these issues were raised was held on Sunday morning and was attended by BJP president JP Natta, Congress president Gaurav Gogoi, Union Minister and Union Minister and LJP (Ram Vilas) party leader Chirak Paswan. Apart from Jairam Ramesh of Congress, K Suresh, Asaduddin Owaisi of AIMIM, Abhay Kushwaha of RJD, Sanjay Jha of JDU, Sanjay Singh of Aam Aadmi Party, Prabul Patel of NCP and SP President Ram Gopal Yadav attended the meeting. In the meeting, the opposition parties demanded the government to discuss several controversial issues like Uttar Pradesh government ordering restaurants along the Kanwar Yatra route and the leak of exam papers including the prestigious NEET. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiran Rijiju asserted that the government is ready for a debate, but only as per the rules.
