Netflix’s Avatar The Last Airbender Gets Renewed For Season 2 And 3; Watch Cast’s Reaction

Avatar The Last Airbender Season 2 And 3 Announced: Netflix recently released the live-action adaptation of the popular animated series ‘Avatar The Last Airbender’, which has received a good response from the audience worldwide.

The series is still trending on Netflix and fans are eager to know the update about the next season. The makers of ‘Avatar The Last Airbender’ have finally announced its second and third seasons and fans can’t keep calm.

Announcing the news, Netflix wrote, “the avatar will return. AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER seasons 2 & 3!!!”

Avatar The Last Airbender’ stars Gordon Cormier, Dallas Liu, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Elizabeth Yu and Daniel Dae Kim.

The show focuses on people who have the ability to control four elements: water, fire, earth and air. Aang, who is the ‘Avatar’ and the last living Airbender, has to take the responsibility of ending the ambitions of the militaristic Fire Nation to conquer the world and maintain the balance of the world. He teams up with Katara and Sokka and tries to master all four elements as he is pursued by Zuko, the crown prince of the Fire Nation.

While speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Kiawentiio and Ian Ousley revealed that Sokka’s sexism was deliberately removed from the live-action version.

Ousley said, “There’s more weight with realism in every way.” Kiawentiio further added, “I feel like we also took out the element of how sexist (Sokka) was. I feel like there were a lot of moments in the original show that were iffy.”

Showrunner Albert Kim also talked about the changes in live-action and animated series and said, “We had to sometimes unravel storylines and remix them in a new way to make sense for a serialized drama. So I’m very curious to see
