It is believed that just by seeing this Shivling installed under a mango tree, all the troubles and worries of the Shiva devotee go away. There is a tradition of sprinkling water on Ekambarnath Shivling instead of doing Jalabhishek.
Jambukeshwara Temple (Water Element)
The Jambukeshwar Temple in Tiruchirapalli is considered a symbol of the water element. This temple of Lord Bholenath is also built in a very large area of about 18 acres.
