After pooja-abhishekam, IPS Rashmi, who is now in discussion, will the problem be compounded by her husband's dark doings?
After IAS Pooja Kethkar and ex-IAS Abhishek Singh, now IPS Rashmi Karandikar is in the news. She has come to light because of her husband's dark exploits. In fact, IPS Rashmi Karandikar's husband Purushottam Chavan was arrested in the TDS rebate scam case and new information is coming out about him. According to the latest information that has emerged, between August 2023 and February 2024, Purushottam Chavan allegedly sent two constables for his IPS wife Rashmi Karandikar to collect bags full of money and documents from businessman Rajesh Bhatreja. On the other hand, Bhatreja has admitted that he paid Rs 10.40 crore to Purushottam Chavan in installments. The Enforcement Directorate recently filed a supplementary chargesheet in the Rs 263 crore Income Tax TDS refund scam case. A complaint has been lodged against Chavan, Bhatreja and tax consultant Anirudh Gandhi. Apart from this, M/s AG Enterprises, M/s Universal Marketing and Advisory Services LLP (UMAS) and Dwalax Enterprises Pvt. A complaint has also been filed against What did the court say? The agency had also recorded Bhadreja's statement. He admitted paying Rs 10.40 crore to Chavan in several installments between August 2023 and February 2024. Purushottam Chavan was arrested in May. He is currently in judicial custody. The accused in the case are former income tax officer Tanaji Mandal Adhikari, Bhushan Patil, Rajesh Shetty and Rajesh Bhatreja.
