Tata Curvv EV will be launched in the country on August 7, will get powerful features along with great design
Tata Motors Tata is going to launch its much-awaited electric car Curve EV in the country on 7 August. Apart from this, Tata Curve will also be launched with a diesel engine. Not only this, you will also get to see many cool features and stylish looks in this car. Curve was seen in a production ready avatar in diesel form at the India Mobility Expo and it will also be launched with an EV variant. Both ICE and EV variants of this car will be launched simultaneously.
Design and Features of Tata Curvv EV
The production model of the Curve EV is quite similar to its concept. The SUV will get a new split-LED headlamp setup, gloss black side cladding, coupe-like roofline, split taillamp cluster and alloy wheels. In terms of features, it can come with a 10.25-inch infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charger, ventilated seats, connected car technology and 360-degree camera.
Power of Tata Curvv SUV
It is likely that the Tata Curvv, which is going to be launched on August 7, may be equipped with a 1.2 L 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5 L 4-cylinder diesel engine like the Tata Nexon. It is also being speculated that it may also get 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT and 7-speed DCT options. Talking about the Curvv EV, no information related to its power and battery backup has been revealed yet.
What is the price and who is competing with
The ex-showroom price of the Tata Curve EV can start from Rs 20 lakh. In India, it will compete with the MG ZS EV and the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV. The company will also launch the ICE version of the Curve by the end of the year, which can be priced at Rs 10.50 lakh ex-showroom. The ICE version will compete with the Citroen Basalt, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushak.
