fake jobs: Government job has always been the dream of Indian people. But what if fraudsters take advantage of this dream of yours and cheat you of money? The case of the recent government job scam by this website is also something like this. In view of the increasing cases of job scams, the Central Government of India has issued a warning against fake job websites.
A post on the official handle of PIB Fact Check, X (formerly known as Twitter), revealed that a website claiming to be associated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare is offering fake jobs. Job seekers are advised to treat information from unknown websites with a grain of salt. Also, they are urged not to make any payment to the website. According to the post by PIB Fact Check, the website asks for an application fee of Rs 1,675.
The post states that it is a fake job website. It claims to offer jobs for various positions. Earlier, PIB Fact Check had warned against a fraudulent message circulating via SMS, claiming to be from India Post. The message requests users to update their address details. PIB Fact Check confirmed that any message from India Post asking to update the address is fake.
