Delhi News: On Sunday evening, July 14, a patient was shot dead at Delhi's GTB Hospital. The deceased has been identified as Riazuddin. Riazuddin was killed yesterday when an 18-year-old youth came to meet him and shot at him. We will tell you that on June 23, Riazuddin was admitted due to a stomach infection. Since then he was receiving treatment in this hospital. Police said that five empty bullets were recovered from the spot. In this, the deceased was hit by three bullets. Police have started an investigation to find out the reason behind the firing. They are scanning the CCTV and identifying the culprit. Let's say the ward where the incident took place was a surgical ward. Now about this shooting incident at GTB hospital, police officials said that around 4:20 pm we received a PCR call from ward number 24 of the hospital. It was said that someone had shot the patient here and the killer had fled the scene. Shahdara Additional DCP Vishnu Sharma said, “Our team reached the spot and confirmed that the deceased was Riazuddin. Association of Resident Doctors of University College of Medical Sciences and Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital has expressed grief over the incident. Resident doctors have announced that they will go on strike from July 15. Meanwhile, the hospital will have emergency services only.
