The BJP expressed confidence in Mohanlal and made him the Haryana party president
Ahead of the Haryana assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party has taken a big step forward. BJP national president Jagat Prakash Natta has handed over the charge of Haryana BJP president to MLA Mohanlal. Mohan Lal Patoli, Rai Halke MLA from Sonipat, was also the BJP candidate from Sonipat in the Lok Sabha elections. Currently Haryana BJP State General Secretary. Mohan Lal, an MLA from Rai assembly constituency, has been associated with the RSS for a long time. Now he has got a big responsibility in the state. Till now this responsibility was held by Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini. Naib Saini became the chief minister after Manohar Lal Khattar was removed from the post of chief minister last year. Mohan Lal contested elections from Rai Assembly in 2019. When Saini was given the chief ministership, he was then the state president. Since then, along with the post of Chief Minister, he also held the responsibility of the State President. Talking about Mohan Lal, he contested 2019 Rai assembly election. He had won this election by a margin of 2,663 votes. Mohanlal was the first BJP leader to win the Rai constituency, and of course Mohanlal won by a narrow margin. The reason for this is that Mohanlal is the first BJP leader to win elections in this assembly constituency. The BJP nominated him as its candidate for the Lok Sabha elections from Sonipat constituency. The ticket of Ramesh Chandra Kaushik, who was then an MP, was cut and given to him. However, Mohan had to face defeat. Assembly elections are due in Haryana in a few months. BJP has been in power in Haryana since 2014.
