CBI action in NEET exam leak case, two more arrested in Bihar

NEET UG Paper Leak: CBI has arrested two more people from Bihar in the NEET-UG paper leak case. One of those arrested is a candidate and the other is the father of another candidate. The CBI has arrested one of the two from Nalanda and the other from Gaya district. A CBI team has been in Patna for the past few days to investigate the paper leak. Before the two were arrested, a CBI team visited Hazaribagh in Jharkhand. According to information received, the two arrested by the CBI have been identified as Ranjit Singh and Sunny. Sunny had appeared as a candidate in the NEET UG examination, while Ranjith's son had also appeared. CBI has so far arrested 8 people in the NEET exam question paper leak case. Meanwhile, one each from Godhra and Latur in Gujarat has been arrested. Meanwhile, one person has also been arrested from Dehradun in Uttarakhand. The CBI had earlier arrested the principal and vice-principal of Oasis School in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. The CBI, which is investigating the irregularities in the medical entrance examination, has registered 6 FIRs in this matter. These FIRs pertain to various states including Bihar and Gujarat. Some of these FIRs have been registered by the state police and one by the CBI. Exam held on 5th May, NEET exam released on 4th June, was held on 5th May across the country. 4750 centers were created for this examination held in 571 cities. Out of which 14 centers were abroad. More than 23 lakhs appeared for the exam. This NEET UG exam is conducted by National Examination Agency i.e. NTA. When the exam was over and the NDA results were released on June 4, there was a frenzy. As 67 students secured first rank, 67 stood first. Following this, some students raised questions about the exam and the paper was allegedly leaked. Some burnt question papers were also recovered from Bihar capital Patna. It was said that the recovered question paper was only the question paper of NEET UG examination.
