Eppalayam Cricket League: Kombans Kaladi are the second consecutive winners

Manama: Kompans Kaladi have won the Members Cricket League Season-2 (MCL 2024) for the second time in a row, organized by the global expatriate association Idapalayam Bahrain Chapter Sports Wing.
The match which was held at the East Rifa Sports Club was inaugurated by Edapalayam Bahrain Chapter Patron Shanawaz Puttanveetil. The competition, which was held on the panchayat basis of Edapall, Kaladi, Vattamkulam and Tavanur, was very exciting. Then the sports logo engraved cricket jersey was released by Sports Secretary Mustafa to the patrons Rajesh Nambiar and Shanawaz Puthanveetil.
Vipers Vattamkulam, Eagles Edapall, Kompans Kaladi and Teskers Tavanur are the four teams that have won the championship. In the final of a thrilling match, Vipers defeated Vatankulam by 43 runs to win Kompans Kaladi. Mithun was the best player in the final who showed an all-round performance.
MCL aims to provide a platform for members of the association to renew friendships and discover a handful of good sporting talents. President Faisal said that the cricket league was successful. General Secretary Shahul Kaladi, Treasurer Ramachandran Pottur and other members Muralidharan, Manoj Valliad, Shaji Pappan, Pratyush Kallur, Greeshma Vijayan, Aishwarya, Shamila Faisal, Krishnapriya, Harris and Remin presided over the tournament.
