Later in the afternoon, the police, who were on duty to control traffic near Kelambagh Chowk and Sarayaganj Tower, removed the barricade and allowed entry of bikes and small vehicles. Due to this, people traveling in two-wheelers and small vehicles felt a little relieved. However, traffic congestion continued throughout the day. The road was supposed to be opened at 6 am and the blockade lasted till night, Sarayaganj Tower-Sikanderpur road was opened at 6 am on Monday. Municipal Commissioner Naveen Kumar had ordered the road blockade under Section 310 of the Bihar Municipal Act. Similarly, Kalambagh Chowk was blocked from last Saturday night till half past Sunday. A culvert has been constructed at Kalambagh Chowk. At the same time, after laying the sewage pipeline between Sarayaganj Tower-Sikanderpur Chowk, road rehabilitation work should be carried out. However, the construction company did not complete any work within the specified time frame. Due to this people are facing difficulties.
