The Civil Service Commission has canceled the above addresses from the civil ID cards of 322 people in Kuwait.

Kuwait: The Civil Service Commission has announced that the addresses on the civil ID cards of 322 people in Kuwait have been cancelled. The commission canceled their address as per the suggestion of the building owners and because the buildings where they lived earlier were demolished.
Those whose addresses have been canceled will be barred from renewing their civil ID etc. Similarly, a fine of not less than 100 dinars will also have to be paid. To avoid this, the commission informed that those whose addresses have been canceled should approach them within 30 days with the documents proving the address of the new residential building and complete the procedures.
Loss of residential address will invalidate the civil card. Card data can be updated by visiting the authority’s head office or any of its branches along with any documents from the landlord like rent agreement and rent receipt.
If the person whose address is to be changed is the owner of the property, the new house deed should be submitted. At the same time, it is also possible to complete the procedures through the SAHL application without visiting the authority offices directly.
If the authority comes to know that someone’s address has been deleted, the first step is to send a message to the concerned person’s phone.
If the update process is not completed then the Civil ID will be considered as invalid and the MyID app will be disabled. Then the names of such persons will be published in the official gazette.
After the name appears in the gazette, a statutory fixed time will be allowed. The authorities also warned that a case will be filed in the court against those who do not complete the process even after that.
