From Gaya to Biharsharif in two and a half hours, Gaya-Hishua-Rajgir-Nalanda-Biharsharif four-lane NH-82 is being constructed with a length of about 93 km at a cost of around Rs 2138 crore. With its construction, time will be saved in traveling from Gaya to Bihar Sharif. Currently it takes about four hours to drive from Gaya to Bihar Sharif. Now that the new four-lane road has been constructed, the journey can be covered in about two and a half hours. In this case, about an hour and a half will be saved. Along with this, this road will be an important part of the Buddha circuit. The construction of the road started on 20 October 2016 and was scheduled to be completed by 2018. The initial estimated cost was around Rs 925.87 crore. Due to the delay, its price also increased. Repair of Arwal-Jeganabad-Biharsharif dual carriageway NH-110: Repair and upgrading of Arwal-Jeganabad-Biharsharif dual carriageway NH-110 along a length of about 21 km is underway at Mandakathi. It has been advised to speed up the construction work and complete it this year. The people of three districts will be directly benefited by the construction of this road. It includes Arwal, Jaganabad and Nalanda. This road is a major part of the Buddha Circuit. The Muzaffarpur Bypass in the state is being constructed at a cost of Rs.180 crore with a length of about 17 km. While the decision to build this bypass was taken in 2010, the work started in 2012. Subsequently, there were many obstacles in the acquisition of land. After the High Court's intervention in 2019, its work started fast, but it became problematic again due to the Corona crisis. Now it is likely to be completed this year itself. Construction of bypass will reduce traffic congestion in Muzaffarpur city. Besides, traveling to Nepal will also become easier. Gopalganj from Patna is convenient for travelers to Nepal, Purnia and Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, a link will be constructed from Sitamarhi to Sonparsa. A four-lane expressway will connect capital Patna and Muzaffarpur on an east-west route. Patna is easy for vehicles coming from NH-527 C, which connects Majauli to Nepal.
