NEET-UG Exam: After Centre, now NTA files affidavit in Supreme Court
Following the central government, now the NDA has also filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court in the case related to the NEET exam. It has been said that the NEET UG exam should not be cancelled. The NDA claims that irregularities took place only in Patna and Godhra examination centres. So the entire exam should not be canceled based on individual examples. In an affidavit filed in the Supreme Court before the National Examinations Agency (NDA), the central government has stated that it does not want to cancel the examination. Canceling the exam will not be right unless there is proof of paper leakage across the country. Results are declared. In such a scenario, cancellation of the exam would be a deceiving action for lakhs of candidates. The RSS submitted recommendations to the Radhakrishnan Committee, stating in its affidavit that canceling the exam would result in loss of lakhs of honest candidates. The government is determined to protect the interests of lakhs of students who have worked hard and appeared for the exams. Therefore, petitions based on mere conjecture without any facts should be rejected.
